Music Saves the World

is a spectacular series of
concerts united for peace
and harmony

We aim to support talented Russian musicians in exile, helping them find their audience in their immigration journey. Through the unifying power of music, we bring people together in a spirit of peace and solidarity.

Throughout 2023, a series of charity concerts took place in Armenia, Georgia, Montenegro, and the UK, allowing more than 150 refugee musicians to showcase their talent while supporting music schools affected by war conflicts

The Music Saves the World is a celebration of musical diversity, featuring performances from renowned artists from different corners of the globe, including France, Germany, Poland, and the UK.

Across two dates, The Music Saves the World showcases a variety of genres and talents, united by a common purpose of supporting humanitarian causes through music.

Vasily Zorkiy

A multi-instrumentalist with a distinctive, raw style, Vasya Zorkiy’s music is a blend of rock, blues, and experimental sounds, making for a deeply energetic live performance.

United by Sadness

A North London favorite, consisting of Daniel Kniazev, Dima Vincent, Alexey Mazurov and Sasha Gefen, United by Sadness is playing a colourful mix of psychedelic rock, trip hop and electronics, inspired by Eastern European folk tradition.

Alexei Aigui is one of Russia’s most distinctive and versatile composers known for seamlessly blending emotional depth with formal precision. Alexei Aigui will perform with the London quartet conducted by Yuri Zhislin.

Tbilisi

The event

The inaugural Music Saves the World marathon in Tbilisi was a resounding success. Over a thousand music lovers gathered to enjoy performances by more than 50 musicians.

results

The marathons raised over 10,000 Georgian Lari ($3,000) to support two music schools in Odessa and Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine.

$1,000 was transferred to the school in Kamianets-Podilskyi. A keyboard and a double bass were purchased.

Yerevan

The event

The proceeds from the event were directed towards Arno Babajanian’s Musical School in the town of Masis, where students were in urgent need of new musical instruments.
