It showcases a variety of genres and talents, united by a common purpose of supporting humanitarian causes through music.

Music Saves the

World is a spectacular series of concerts united for peace and harmony

We aim to support talented Russian musicians in exile, helping them find their audience in their immigration journey. Through the unifying power of music, we bring people together in a spirit of peace and solidarity.

Throughout 2023, a series of charity concerts took place in Armenia, Georgia, Montenegro, and the UK, allowing more than 150 refugee musicians to showcase their talent while supporting music schools affected by war conflicts

This outstanding marathon was founded by the visionary producer

also the President of the iconic Usadba Jazz Festival and owner of CultLab

This musical journey transcended boundaries of style, offering a luscious, funky, and groovy mélange that transported attendees to the bliss of a summer evening.

For the last London event, Music Saves the World partnered with World Heart Beat, a charitable arts organisation founded by Sahana Gero MBE.

The mission of the project is to support talented musicians in exile. We also provided assistance to music schools and covered the cost of tailoring uniforms for the school choir of an Odessa school. Learn more about how we helped.

Tbilisi

The event

The inaugural Music Saves the World marathon in Tbilisi was a resounding success. Over a thousand music lovers gathered to enjoy performances by more than 50 musicians.

results

The marathons raised over 10,000 Georgian Lari ($3,000) to support two music schools in Odessa and Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine.

$1,000 was transferred to the school in Kamianets-Podilskyi. A keyboard and a double bass were purchased.

The event

The proceeds from the event were directed towards Arno Babajanian’s Musical School in the town of Masis, where students were in urgent need of new musical instruments.

For the second time, the unique marathon Music Saves the World took place in London. On December 1 and 8, 2024, The Steel Yard hosted talented musicians from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus who were forced to leave their homelands.

SBP4, Palina, Vadik Korolev, Yaroslav Oliinyk, Alexey Aigui, Vintskevich-Kershaw Trio, Vasily Zorkiy, Yegor Zabelov, United by Sadness performed on one stage, united not by nationality or country, but by the spirit of collaborative creativity.

This multi-genre festival spanned two days with different programmes, featuring indie pop, jazz, rock, electronic music, and more.

The lineup included Tbili band, Radiomateria, Keel the Barber, Dodona, Teimuraz Nikolaishvili, Marika Maksakova and Alexei Kestner, Daniel Brandon, Anatoly Volochai, Ivan Lipatov, Denis Marvin, Iya, Dmitry Selipanov, Lenya Samorukov, Pushkin Sound, Electronech, Sasha Frid, Daria Fisher, Trofim Korchinov, Alexey Paperny, Plum Sauce, Feal, and Sabu.
The events were marked with a spirit of truly international unity. They were a celebration of art and music as a source of light and peace.

This event offered an opportunity to immerse oneself in magnificent music of talented refugee musicians. The event brought together exceptional artists, including Hermes Zygott, Alexei Kurbatov, Nadezhda Artamonova, Joe Taranov, Natasha Treya, Tim Givargiz, Artem Dervoed, Gladys, and many more.

This musical journey transcended boundaries of style, offering a luscious, funky, and groovy mélange that transported attendees to the bliss of a summer evening.

The lineup reflected the diversity and richness of the modern Caucasus’ musical landscape with such artists as BassTards, Artur Shek, Hovsep Moryan, Lazy Killer, Ni!, Vasiliy Peshkov, Groove garden, Bartal Agustinussen.
Attendees participated to support the next generation of musicians. Proceeds from the event were directed towards supporting Arno Babajanian’s Musical School in the town of Masis, where students were in urgent need of new musical instruments.

For the last London event, Music Saves the World partnered with World Heart Beat, a charitable arts organisation founded by Sahana Gero MBE. The eclectic concert showcased a captivating constellation of talented and stylistically diverse musicians.

Pianist Fyodor Biryuchev performed his own compositions, created in the spirit of Romanticism and imbued with both tenderness and high expressivity. Olga Glazova demonstrated the beautiful art of traditional gusli performance, one of the oldest Russian multi-string plucked instruments.
